In The Beginning, We See That The Violence And Crime That Spread Throughout HTF City Was Done By Chromeo. But He Was Faltered At Every Step By The Radical Youth, So He Hacked The Government Systems On September 9th, 2006, Forcefully Passing The Bill Of Emergency Education Reformation, Also Known As The Battle Royale Act. Blake And Alex Olivares Find Out The Law Was Passed Without Their Consent Or Permission, Causing The Forced Formation Of The Battle Royale Program, As Known On TV As The World Series Of Tree Friends Slaughter. The Act Would Take Effect In 2007, And Gathers 40 Individuals, Usually From The Teen/Young Adult Category, And Enrolls Them Into A Program Called The Battle Royale Program. These 40 Would Have To Use Every Bit Of What They Know About Survival To Survive And Thrive. This Program Was A Last Tree Friend Standing Brawl, Where The 40 Who Were Selected Must Battle Among Themselves In Order To Be The Only One Standing. The TV Ratings For The World Series Of Tree Friend Slaughter Were High In The First Year, As Katrine Won It. She Gets An Interview With Reporter Bluey, And She Says That She Had Seen Things That She Might Never See Again. This Was A Thrill Ride That She Will Never Forget And She Is So Scared About The Reality Of The Future With This Program, As This Might Not End Well For Anyone Else. We Then Advanced To Tuesday September 21st, 2008 At 11:55 PM. On Steel Island, There's The Main Schoolhouse Building. As The Bell Rings While We Get A View Of The Classroom Entrance, We Then Quick Pan To The Next Hall As Bradley Rivera, The Instructor For The Battle Royale Program, Is Rushing Not To Be Late. Bradley Arrives At The Door And Breaths A Sigh Of Relief, As He Opens The Door, And The 40 Classmates Look At Him Like He Did Something Wrong. A Cough Is Heard By One Of The Students. Bradley Welcomes Them, But Notices That Lenny Was Still Sleeping. So He Grabs A Piece Of Blackboard Chalk And Throws It At Him, And The Chalk Hits Him In The Head, Waking Him Up. Lenny Asks What That Was For And Culu Told Him He Was Sleeping. Lenny Doesn't Care About Him Being Tired, And Says That It Was Boring When The Teacher Wasn’t Here, And He Was Tired So He Had To Sleep. Bradley Asks The Class What The Bill Of Emergency Education Reformation Is, As We See Several Students In Several Shots As Bradley Explains That This Act Was Passed Because Of Them Thwarting And Ruining The Master’s Plans Everywhere They Go. He Continues To Explain That Every Year, The Master Often Uses Plans To Cause The Juvenile Crimes And Violent Acts That He Would Had Cause To Skyrocket To The Point That People Would Had Not Felt Safe Leaving Their Homes, But But Due To The Contestants Interference, He Hacked The Government Servers In Order To Pass That Bill. He Then Explains That The B.E.E.R. Act Was Passed That Takes 40 People From Each Region And Enrolls Them Into This Program, Until One Is Left. He Then Introduces The Security Guards, As Two Guards, Xavier Barrington And Austin Carlson, Enter The Room And Stand On Each Side Of Bradley. Sammy Was Fed Up With This And Tried To Leave, Only For Another Guard, Alexander Sisera, To Stop Him. He Warns Him To Get Back To His Seat And Sammy Tries To Punch Him, But Alex Catches The Punch And Shoots Sammy In The Foot With His Buster, Causing Everyone To Scream And Panic In Terror. Stacy Asks Why Sammy Did That, And Culu Tells Him To Not Bother With An Explanation And Tells Her To Shut Up. Adrien Was Pissed Off About This And Goes To Attack Bradley, Passing Nicky, And The Guards Guns Shoot Multiple Times As Nicky Ducks To Avoid The Shots. Adrien Didn't Get Didn’t Get Shot, Because Was Tripped Up By Pelty, Who Warned Him To Think Before He Disobeys Anyone. Bradley Puts His Buster To Pelty’s Head, Pelty Then Thinks Of Something, And Says That His Master Won't Be Happy If He Just Kill His Contestants, Causing Skaggles And Winter To Be Shocked So Hard That Their Pupils Are Missing. Haru Says That He Thought He Was Insane, And Bradley Realizes What Pelty Said Was True. Bradley Tells Him To Get Back To His Seat Before He Has A Change Of Heart. Bradley Then Sets Down A Jukebox And Takes Out The Introduction CD And Puts It In And Presses Play As We Hear The Voice Of Corey Graves, As He Welcomes Them To The Program. He Then Goes Over The Rules And Says That Their Families Already Know Where They Are And They Wish Them Luck. He Explains That When The Contestants Or Players Leave They Will Receive A Bag Containing Food, Water, A Map Of The Battlefield, A Compass, And Some Kind Of Weapon. These Were Randomly Chosen, So No One Would Have A Unique Advantage. Also, There’s A Massive Range Of Weapons, So Anyone Might Want To Upgrade Them As Soon As Possible. He Then Explains The Area Of The Battlefield, Which Is Steel Island. The Area In The Middle Is The School, Where The Instructor Will Oversee All Progress Made. If Anyone Would Try To Escape By Sea, The Coast Guards Will Use He/She As Target Practice. Everyone Was Evacuated To Safe Zones, So The Players Don’t Need To Worry About Civilians Trying To Impede Their Progress. Any Building Can Be Used Because Of This. The Island Has Been Divided Into 100 Zones, By A Ten By Ten Grid. Every Two Hours, A Zone Can Become A Danger Zone. You Will Be Given A Report On Which Zone Is Safe And Which Is A Danger Zone Every Six Hours, Failure To Leave At The Given Time Will Result In That Players Collar Self Destructing, As Everyone Had Been Fitted With A Collar That Is Waterproof And Shockproof. It Monitors Everyone's Movement And Location. If Anyone Is In A Danger Zone Withing The Time It Becomes A Danger Zone, The Collar Will Be Automatically Detonated. This Also Happens If The Collar Is Removed In Any Way. The Collar Also Self Destructs After The 72 Hour Mark Is Over, Only If 2 Or More Players Remain. He Then Tells Them That When He Calls Their Name, They Need To Collect Their Bags And Leave. Anyone Who Stays Will Be Immediately Killed. He First Calls Up Sammy, And He Tells Everyone That They Will Regret Shooting His Foot At Some Point, Grabbing His Bag And Slamming The Door Shut. And Thus, The Game Begins. Meanwhile, In HTF City, Brandon And His Family Think The World Series Of Tree Friends Slaughter Seems Out Of Place, So They Tuned To BGSN And See If Something Is Suspicious. Cheyenne Says That This Is An Extreme Way To Control People, Even Though They Did Nothing Wrong. Jared Was Worried That The B.E.E.R. Act Would Recruit Him In That Program, And Molly Tells Him Not To Worry, As The Law Excludes Us Hunters As Potential Program Players, Since We Save The World From These Mavericks. Alisia Adds On That It Also Excludes Canon Characters And Certain Fanon Characters, As Lily Says That Snowers Isn't In It But Skaggles And Winter Are. Before They Could Investigate Any Further, Brandon Hears A Knock On The Door. He Answers It, And Sees Two Officers, Ryan Dolbear And Dylan Germain, At The Door. Dylan And Ryan Tell Him That The B.E.E.R. Act Has The Potential Of Becoming Unconstitutional. It Was Hacked Into The Government Servers To Control The Rowdy Youth, But It Conflicts With A Certain Law About Crimes. Brandon Knew That Something Was Up With This And Asks What Law Conflicts With The B.E.E.R. Act. Ryan Tells Him That The Marribuda Act Conflicts With The B.E.E.R. Act. The Marribuda Act Is An Act That Prohibits Bloodsports. But, There’s A Massive Riot In The City About The Conflicting Laws And Some Rioters Said That The Law Was Created By An Anonymous Source For The Purpose Of Creating A Bloodsport And Used It As A Virus To Install It On The Government Servers To Make The Law Real Without It Being Passed By The Governors. Brandon Realizes This And Is Disappointed, And Tells Them That They Need To Sort Things Out Before Chaos Ensues. Dylan Tells Him That After The End Of The 2008 Program, The B.E.E.R. Act Will Be Abolished, And The Said Virus Containing The Law Will Be Deleted. Brandon Then Asks Who Would Make Such A Law And Hack It Into The Government Servers. Ryan Tells Him That It Was Chromeo, The Grand Dictator Of The Republic Of Dark Shadows Who Did This, Causing Brandon To Get Angry. He Then Tells His Family What's Going On And Tells Them That They Need To Head To The City And See What’s Going On. Jared Asks If It Was About That Anti-Bloodsport Law And Molly Now Learns Why She Felt Skeptical About The World Series Of Tree Friends Slaughter This Morning. He Then Tells Jared That Since He Got His License Last Month, He, Molly, Alisia And Lily Will Take His Car, While Brandon And Cheyenne Take The Rescue Rover. The Germains, With Molly, Dylan And Ryan D Head To The City, As Back On Steel Island, Sammy Is Limping On His Injured Foot, As The Gun Made A Hole In His Foot, And His Shoe. Sammy Had Some Regret What He Did And Thinks Of A Revenge Plot, But Decides To Not Get Revenge On Those Who Injured Him. He Then Trips On A Rock, Causing Him To Fall To The Ground. He Then Makes His Way Towards A Wooden Fence And Sits Up Against It. He Then Wishes He Could Escape, Before Getting An Idea And Tries To Rips A Piece Of Wood Of The Fence, But Gets Flown Back And Lands On His Back. Sammy Says That This Might Be Harder Than He Thought. We Then See His Brother Mikey Walking By. He Says That He Should Be Careful, Before Wondering Where He Is. Mikey Uses His Flashlight To Looks At His Surroundings And Sees What He’s Going Into. Back At The Classroom, The Contestants Continue To Be Called Up One By One, As Ricky Was Called Up Next. Ricky Tells Bradley That He Hopes That This Act Gets Thrown Out In 2009. Bradley Tells Him To Leave As He Leave And Then We See A Text Graphic Saying Later. We Then Fade Up To The Entrance Of The School, As Fresko, Entry 021, Exits The School. He Asks If He Was Here Because Of What He Did To Chromeo In College Cat, And Says That He Wouldn't Be Surprised If It Was Why He Was Here. He Then Takes Out A Photo Of His Friend Munchkins, And Says That It Might Of Been Because Of His Carelessness That He's Here. He Sees A Laser Dot On His Head. He Ducks And Avoids A Arrow From Hitting Him. We See A Shadowy Figure In The Shape Of Ginger Behind Bushes. Juggles Then Exits The School And Heads Out, But Before She Could Go Anywhere, Fresko Pulls Her Down And Whispers To Her That There’s Someone Out There Trying To Kill Them And They Should Run Away Before They Get Killed. At 1:30 AM, In A Different Zone, Neena Was Walking In The Dark With Her Flashlight. She Hears Bushes Rustling And Points Her Flashlight At The Bushes To See Who It Is, And It’s Jordan Kaplan. Neena And Jordan Show Each Other Their Weapons As Neena Got A Sickle And Jordan K Got A Desert Eagle. Before Jordan Asks Why He Would Need Such A Weapon, Neena Sneaks Up Behind Him And Stabs Him In The Head With Her Sickle, Killing Him. She Then Takes Her Weapon And Then We Cut To The Contestant Scoreboard As The Words Eliminated Replaced Jordan K’s Icon. In Another Area, At 3:25 AM, Someone Moved Bushes Out Of The Way As They See Mikey Standing Lakeside. Mikey Couldn't Find Sammy And Calls Him A Coward As He Takes Off His Bag, Sets It On The Ground And Goes Digging Through His Bag, Looking For His Weapon, Until He Finds It, But Unfortunately, It’s A Pen, And He Is Wondering How He Could Defend Himself With This Useless Item. A Voice Then Gets Mikey's Attention, Before A Ingram M10 Machine Pistol Was Pressed Against His Forehead. Annalise Told Him That She Hated To Do This, But She's Got To Play To Survive. Mikey Then Stabbs Annalise In The Neck With The Pen And Gets Covered In Insect Blood. Annalise, While Dying, Tells Him That She Was Trying To Be Nice, And Then Falls To The Ground Dead. Mikey Didn't Realize That She Was Being Nice And Would Had Asked If They Could Team Up, But He Now Takes Annalise’s Weapon And Leaves His Now Ruined Pen In Annalise’s Corpse And Runs Away. Back At The Scoreboards, The Words Eliminated Replaced Annalise’s Icon. In Another Area, At 4:55 AM, Rosalie Was Tired And Wanted To Find Someplace To Sleep, She Then Finds A Building, A Cabin Of Some Sort, And Goes In, Examines It, And Lays On The Bed And Falls Asleep. She Dreams Of Being At A Beach. She Gets A View Of The Ocean And Goes In It, But After She Went In, The Water Changed To Red, And She Wonders Why The Water Warm All Of A Sudden. She Looks Down And Sees An Ocean Of Blood Starting To Rise Like It Was Gonna Drown Her, She Screams And Says That If This Was The Way She Died, She Would Facepalm Her Face So Hard. We Then Go Back To Reality, As Rosalie Was Still In The Bed, But Was Now Dead With Her Throat Slit. As We See That Katie Was The One Who Killed Her With A Hacksaw, She Picks Up Rosalie’s Gun And Says That If The Teachers Said That They Could Upgrade Their Weapons, He Thinks They Meant Killing Others And Taking Their Weapons. The Scoreboard Appears One Final Time In This Episode, As The Words Eliminated Replaced Rosalie’s Icon. We Then Hear Cole And Corey Graves’ Commentary, As They Said The Game Has Begun. We Then Hear The Voice Of Chromeo, Telling The Maverick Hunters, That Their Game Has Begun As Well, Ending The Episode With The To Be Continued Graphic.
